EPA testing Grenada subdivision for TCE contamination

GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) -- Some Grenada residents are looking for answers about medical problems and their connection to contamination from an old hubcap operation in the city.

East Heights Community members held a rally in downtown Grenada Monday to call attention to high rates of cancer they say can trace to contamination in the area of TCE.

The cleaner and degreaser was used at Rockwell International plant in the 1960s to clean hubcaps as part of the manufacturing process.
