Toxic chemical still affects Water Valley by Jerry Mitchell Jackson Clarion-Ledger (MS) April 4, 2016 WATER VALLEY - For decades, the carburetor plant run by Holley Performance Products served as this small town’s General Motors. The plant provided good-paying jobs with good benefits for many who lived here. “At one time, they had over 1,000 employees,” said M.B. “Snooky” Williams, who moved here in 1955. But the jobs, it turns out, came with a cost.
