City of Minot Reviews EPA Plan For Contaminated Properties

The 2011 flood left some properties that might have complications of reuse due to contamination -- known as "brownfields."

The Environmental Protection Agency has designated funding to plan, assess, and safely reuse these properties. The City of Minot is holding a flood development forum now at the the zoo on the EPA's Brownfield Program.
