Residents rally against Glen Cove housing project

Residents on Wednesday rallied outside a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a proposed housing project in Glen Cove.

As News 12 has reported, the $1 billion Garvies Point development project includes 1,100 housing units, shops, restaurants and parks. On Wednesday, developer Scott Rechler and company opened a welcome center, which will be open to the public.
