Elevated levels of TCE detected at five Beverley homes, EPA says By Nicola Gage Australian Broadcasting June 30, 2016 Trichloroethene (TCE) was once a widely used degreaser and elevated levels have been found in several suburbs in Adelaide from previous industrial activity. In Beverley, in Adelaide's west, results from 20 houses recently tested found the chemical could pose a health risk to five. EPA director of science, assessment and planning Peter Dolan said all of the properties, on and near Pope Street, were privately owned.
