Announcing the 2nd public review for SGM-SF: “Soil Gas Mitigation Standards for Existing Homes"

This proposed American National Standard is relevant to the chemical vapor intrusion community regarding minimum standards of practice when the need is to reduce soil gas entry into existing homes.  SGM-SF seeks to update standards of practice for mitigating radon while also specifically addressing mitigation of vapor intrusion and comprehensively covering alternative mitigation methods.

The consensus body for SGM-SF Institute, which serves as administrator and coordinator of the United States private sector voluntary standardization system. This work is convened under the AARST Consortium on National Standards that is sponsored by the American Association or Radon Scientists and Technologists.
