Toxins found in two private wells on Flint Road in Charlton By Debbie LaPlaca Worcester Telegram (MA) July 26. 2016 CHARLTON – Two residential wells on Flint Road near the old town dump have tested positive for the toxins found in private wells near the Southbridge landfill, the Board of Health announced Tuesday. Chairman Matthew Gagner opened the topic by saying health board members have learned much since October when Casella Waste Systems reported findings of 1,4-dioxane and trichloroethylene, or TCE, in several private wells on H Foote Road in Charlton, near the Southbridge landfill.
