BROWNFIELD SITE CLEANUP UNDERWAY

BELOIT — Efforts to clean up a site at the corner of Fourth Street and Maple Avenue is expected to be completed this summer, according to city planning staff. 

The property owned by Beloit 2020 is undergoing reclamation efforts of the Brownfield site at 1500 Fourth Street to place an 18-inch soil cap over the northern portion of the property to address pollutants from a former car dealership on the now-vacant site.
