An in-depth look at TCE investigations in Camdenton Residents near the 67-acre site still have concerns that their water, soil and air remain safe from contamination. Current property owners say they feel trapped in the neighborhood because their property values have plummeted. By CODY MROCZKA Lake News (MO) April 27, 2017 An engineering report by an independent contractor expected to be submitted to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in August should provide specific details about extent of groundwater contamination and a final remediation plan for Camdenton’s Mulberry well. Despite whatever the results or suggested actions may be, Mayor John McNabb said as long as he is in office he would never vote to bring the Mulberry well back online, no matter what the science says, under any circumstances. … It’s important to note the Mulberry well and Hulett Lagoon Superfund sites and remediation efforts are a different investigation than the former manufacturing site, a separate Superfund, in which the city is not a respondent.
