Developer Plans 57-Story Tower at Formerly Contaminated West Side Site By Maya Rajamani dnaInfo (NY) August 15, 2017 HELL'S KITCHEN - A developer who secured an $8 million tax credit for cleaning up a contaminated lot on the West Side plans to build a 57-story tower at the site. Silverstein Properties last week filed for permits to construct a mixed-use tower on the site of a former Mercedes dealership at 520 W. 41st St., between 10th and 11th avenues, city Department of Buildings records show.
