Geneva mulls Benson's options By DAVE DELUCA Ashtabula Star Beacon (OH) February 17, 2018 GENEVA - Geneva City Council has decided to apply for a second grant from the Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) to fully remediate Benson’s gas station at 112 E. Main. The gas station has been vacant for six years. Last year, the city received a $100,000 grant from ODSA to remove gas tanks, pumps and other petroleum brownfield pollutants there. The building, formerly an eyesore, was spruced up and painted by Geneva High School volunteers.
