State launches soil cleanup of former South Haven factory site By BECKY KARK Herald-Palladium (St. Joseph, MI) April 13, 2018 SOUTH HAVEN - For nearly a decade, South Haven and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality have undertaken $3 million worth of projects to remove underground contamination at the former Belgravia factory site. Despite the efforts, contamination continues to persist in the soil, prompting DEQ officials to come up with a plan to get rid of the contamination once and for all.
