Air quality alert continues at Franklin Village Plaza By Andrea Peck Oakland Press (MI) October 18, 2018 The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services notified Oakland County Health Division of a recurring vapor intrusion involving the chemicals Trichloroethylene (TCE) and Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) in the Franklin Village Plaza. Unsatisfactory air quality results were identified last Friday following the installation of a permanent air filtration system by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. “We will continue to work with Franklin Village Plaza,” said Kim Ethridge, MDEQ spokesperson. “Mitigation efforts are continuing.
