Hi, Lenny,
Hope you are well amid this especially difficult couple of years.  Certainly no end of work in sight as we approach the beginning of a new mayoral administration and we look at new federal resources for cleanup!

Wanted to be sure you saw this event and wondering if you can put it out to your list.
The National Brownfields Coalition finally got a member of Congress to sit down and talk about the state of brownfields redevelopment and the new bill, and I’m sure it will be of great interest to your readers.  I’m very excited to hear what he has to say.  (And I’ll be responding to his remarks, but I expect that is not the big draw for everybody.)

Best regards,
Lee

Subject: 16 Dec Webinar - Rep. Dan Kildee & National Brownfields Coalition Discuss Redevelopment & Funding

Members of the National Brownfields Coalition and Congressman Dan Kildee (Flint, MI) will discuss  redevelopment and the new Bipartisan Infrastructure Law on 16 December.   Join us to hear about billions in brownfields funding, the Coalition’s work in Washington, & efforts to renew the federal brownfield tax incentive.

Representative Dan Kildee from Michigan’s 5th Congressional District is joining the National Brownfields Coalition on December 16th (1-2 pm ET) for an engaging discussion around the state of brownfield redevelopment, opportunities arising from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and other federal legislation.

During this webinar, Congressman Kildee and members of the Coalition will address bipartisan support for brownfield redevelopment and expectations on how billions in funding to assess and cleanup brownfields will impact communities and economic revitalization. We will also share how the Coalition represents you in Washington DC, and its policy priorities around appropriations and the federal tax incentive.
