[CPEO-BIF] EPA Community Advisory Group resources updated

U.S. EPA has announced that both the updated Superfund Community Advisory Group Toolkit for the Community and Superfund Community Advisory Group Fact Sheet for the Community have been published on EPA’s website on the Community Advisory Groups (CAGs) Resource webpage.

 

The most notable updates are on pgs. 14-15, where they created two new sections:

• “Managing an effective CAG.”
• “Working with the EPA.”

 

They also created two new infographics that accompany these sections on pgs. 36-37 titled:

• “How is your CAG doing? A guide to assessing your CAG’s organizational health.”
• “How is your CAG doing?” An interactive resource for CAGs to determine if they’re functioning effectively.

 

The CAG Toolkit serves as a resource for communities impacted by Superfund sites on how to establish and maintain a CAG. It also provides detailed tools and templates CAGs can use to facilitate communication with community members and EPA.

 

This tool was developed by EPA headquarters.
