The National Brownfields Coalition is pleased to share that, on November 15th, 2023, Representatives Sherrill (NJ-11) and Turner (OH-10) introduced theBrownfields Redevelopment Tax Incentive Reauthorization Act of 2023 in Congress to allow developers to fully deduct their cleanup expenses on contaminated property in the year the costs were incurred.  We need your support to urge Congress to pass this important piece of legislation to restore a powerful tool to encourage cleanup and redevelopment.  Take a minute to learn more and contact your representative:
