If you’re like me, you’ve been receiving a barrage of e-mails seeking funding for candidates and political news outlets, leading up to the November election. This request for money is different, in two ways: 1) Contributions to the Pacific Studies Center remain tax-deductible. 2) We won’t deluge you with repeat messages. PSC sends out no more than two fund appeals twice a year. If you’re on more than one of our lists, you’ll get a maximum of two per list. We’ve been trying to cover our overhead (about $1900/month) with consulting work, but though we have contracts, they haven’t needed as many billable hours as anticipated. We need to make up the difference. Your support makes it possible for CPEO to help impacted communities understand and address vapor intrusion, chip industry PFAS contamination, military environmental issues, etc. So please consider donating. Contributions may be made by check, made out to PSC and mailed to P.O. Box 998, Mountain View, CA 94042, or on line at http://www.cpeo.org/donate.html. Lenny
