$3 million awarded to Cromwell Red Lion Hotel redevelopment project to clean up blight By Cassandra Day, Trumbull Times (CT) December 8, 2024 CROMWELL — The state has awarded a $3 million brownfields grant to clean up the former Red Lion Hotel property as part of a $100 million plan to redevelop the land for a mixed-use housing and commercial project. The 100 Berlin Road property was developed with the current structures in 1968, according to the grant application. It was expanded in 1982.
