Commissioner sour on housing developments at Willow GroveAllentown Morning Call (PA) May 19, 2005 Montgomery County's first priority is to keep the Willow Grove Naval Air Station open, but if the base closes, it would be a mistake to open up the site to housing developments, the commissioner chairman said Thursday. Real estate developers are already salivating at the prospect of 1,100 acres of prime suburban Philadelphia land land opening up.
