Lindenberger Louisville Courier-Journal (KY) November 28, 2005 RADCLIFF, Ky. -- Six months before the first big wave of new Fort Knox soldiers and civilians arrives, officials in neighboring Radcliff say they already see an impact on the city's growth. Construction permits, mostly for apartments and single-family homes, began to climb almost as soon as the proposed Army changes were announced in May -- from $1.6 million that month to $8 million in September. Some developers are asking officials in the city of about 22,000 residents what they should build to make Radcliff more appealing to the newcomers. ...
