A year after BRAC: Kenton on fast trackBy TIM RAUSCH Lima News (OH) May 10, 2006 KENTON - The unpredictability of dealing with different federal agencies has made it hard for the Hardin County commissioners to know when they will be able to get their hands on the Parrott Army Reserve Center to convert it into an office for the sheriff and emergency management agencies. Commissioner Russ Ludwig said he would like the county to take possession of the Reserve Center this year. It is being closed through the Defense Department's Base Closure and Realignment process, a decision made a year ago. ...
