RRRA authorizes agreement with Army for BRAC property cleanupBy Aaron Brand Texarkana Gazette (TX) December 13, 2006 The board of directors for the Red River Redevelopment Authority has authorized executive director Duane Lavery to make an environmental agreement with the U.S. Army for BRAC property cleanup. The RRRA, who gave the authorization Tuesday, will make an Environmental Services Cooperative Agreement with the Army for BRAC property on both Red River Army Depot and the Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant as part of the early land transfer. Lavery said the agreement authorizes him to go forward and sign the agreement once the RRRA agrees to terms with the Army. ELM Consulting, LLC is the firm hired to do the characterization and cleanup planning for the RRRA. ...
