By KURT BRESSWEIN The Express-Times (NJ) November 03, 2007BETHLEHEM | The Airport Road Army base slated to be mothballed could become home to drug investigators, simulated shootings, and regional police and firefighter training. A Bethlehem advisory body voiced support Friday for renovating and possibly expanding the Wilson-Kramer Army Reserve Center for use by city police and fire departments and the health bureau. A $12,000 plan developed by architects at George J. Donovan AIA & Associates outlines two options for converting the facility for city use. A renovation is estimated at nearly $2.2 million with an expansion slated to cost another $944,100. Fees would drive the total renovation and addition cost to $3.63 million. ...
