Erik Pages has recently joined the Commerce Department as the Director of the
Office of Economic Conversion Information, the Federal government's
information clearinghouse on conversion and economic development. His office
maintains a database of information available on the internet at
ecix.doc.gov. In addition, the OECI can provide you with more hands-on help
in finding local points of contact or accessing other types of information
regarding defense conversion. Erik is seeking input/suggestions on
improvements to OECI as well as the overall Federal defense conversion
