For your information: RENEW America, a nonprofit based here in D.C. has
put together a document called "Today: America's Forces Protect the
Environment" which lists more than 200 environmental "success stories"
from installations around the country. The report is the result of a
search process and had cooperation and involvement (and funding) from the
DOD. Listed contacts are Wes Combs (apparently with Renew 
America) at 202/986-7100 and Ann Davlin (DOD) 703/695-3329.
