WHAT: Press conference to make public previously
unreleased information on far reaching consequences of depleted
uranium weapons---radioactive and chemically toxic weapons used
for the first time in the Gulf War and now used in Bosnia.

WHEN: Tuesday, January 16, 1:30 pm
 fifth anniversary of the Persian Gulf War

at Home & Abroad;" Dan Fahey, veterans advocate for Swords to
Plowshares; Dr. Howard Urnovitz, PhD, independent researcher on
Gulf War Syndrome; Debbie Judd, Desert Storm nurse

WHY: The press conference will release information on why
the use and production of depleted uranium weapons should be
halted. These weapons are widely suspected of being a major factor
in the Gulf War Syndrome. This radioactive and toxic weaponry, now
spreading around the world, is having and will continue to have
dire consequences if not stopped now.
