DOD Draft Range Rule Available

The Department of Defense has posted a preliminary draft (2/23/96) of 
their Range Rule (munitions and UXOs) on their Environmental Security 
Web Page -- http://www.acq.osd.mil/ens

Once you get to the Environmental Security Home Page, cursor down to the 
information section and click on to the DoD Range Rule.

This page is still under construction, but all of the text is 
readable. It includes the following:

1. DoD Initiative to Draft a Range Rule--An Overview
2. Summary of the Draft Proposed Rule
3. Current Working Draft of DoD Range Rule
4. Points of Contact for comments on draft Rule (comments due by 6/24/96)
5. Letter from EPA to Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for 
Environmental Security Sherri Wasserman Goodman (as of 3/8/96 this is 
not yet posted)

I will be posting DoD's summary of the Rule on this conference. For 
those of you who do not have web access and would like to receive 
copies of DoD's complete, current working draft of the porposed Range Rule,
