Subject: | JAX FUEL LEAK |
From: Lenny Siegel <lsiegel@igc.org> JACKSONVILLE FUEL LEAK In Jacksonville, Florida, the Navy recently purchased five acres contaminated by a fuel that had leaked several years ago from a high-pressure pipeline between the Jacksonville Naval Air Station and Cecil Field. Is anyone aware of similar land purchases as a response to toxic military contamination? I've run across similar stories only with unexploded ordnance, which arguably is still impractical to clean up. Lenny Siegel | |
