UXO OVERVIEW
In June, 1996 the DOIT (Federal Advisory Committee for the Development 
of Innovative Technologies) working group on Military Munitions 
produced a concise, informative 15-page pamphlet, "Unexploded Ordnance 
(UXO): An Overview." The pamphlet introduces and describes unexploded 
bombs and shells, explains fundamental safety procedures, and discusses 
the challenge of impact range remediation.
