When: January 23, 24, & 25th DEMOS, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
 January 27, 28, & 29th DEMOS, from 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm
 January 29th RECEPTION, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Where: DEMOS: Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco
 RECEPTION: Southeast Community Facility, San Francisco
*The Bay Area Defense Conversion Action Team (BADCAT) Environmental
Technology Partnership (ETP), managed by the Bay Area Economic Forum
(BAEF), is a public-private partnership of BAEF, Bay Area Regional
Technology Alliance (BARTA), California Environmental Protection Agency
(CAL EPA), US Environmental Protection Agency (UES EPA), US Navy, private
sector businesses, community representatives and other technical experts
working to expedite clean-up and conversion of the regions closing
military base by using new environmental technologies.

Please note that demo tours begin every hour on the hour. 

January 23, 24, 25: 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, noon. 

January 27, 28, 29: noon, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm. 

Directions to Hunters Point Shipyard:

>From Downtown San Francisco: 

Take Third Street (heading South toward China Basin) to Evans Street.
Take Evans Street East (toward the Bay). Follow Evans all the way to the
security gate of Hunters Point Shipyard.

Where to park your car:

Once at Hunters Point Shipyard, drive through the main gate. Take the
first left (at Dago Marys) and drive down the hill where you will a
designated parking lot. We will meet you there with a shuttle on the hour
(i.e. 1/23-25: 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, noon; 1/27-29: noon, 1:00 pm,
2:00 pm). *Valid car insurance is required to enter Hunters Point by car.

Directions to Southeast Community Facility

1800 Oakdale Avenue, Community Room, San Francisco

>From Highway 101, take Army St. (East) exit and stay to the left. Follow
Army Street to Third St., turn right (north) on Third. Follow Third St.
to Oakdale Ave. (about 2 miles), turn right on Oakdale. Proceed 3 blocks
on Oakdale Ave. to Phelps St., turn right on Phelps.

Additional Information:

Please note that Hunters Point is a National Priority Site. Therefore,
you will be required to stay on the planned course during the
demonstration. However, as soon as you wish to leave, a shuttle will
return you to the parking lot.
