I would be interested to know the terms of the insurance. Many
environmental liability policies are written on a "claims-made"
basis. That is, If you have not made a claim in the year you
were covered, and your insurance lapses, the insurance company
is not liable. I would also be interested to know whether the
Air Force retains any liability for the site.
