Subject: | SUPERFUND REFORM H.R. 3262 |
Congress Pallone introduced the following bill in the House February 25, 1998. This is the first people-oriented reform bill we have seen on Superfund. As of yet there is no summary available (at least on the web) for this bill. I have not yet had a chance to read any of the language, but at quick glance it appears that Titles I, II, III, IV, VII, and VIII all have relevence to federal facilities. In this posting I have included the Table of Contents for H.R. 3262, as well as all the co-sponsors. The bill has been referred to the following Committees: House Commerce, House Transportation & Infrastructure, and House Ways & Means. We'll keep you updated as this bill moves through committee. You may download H.R. 3262 at the following URL: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query Aimee Houghton CAREER/PRO *********************************** H.R.3262 Children's Protection and Community Cleanup Act of 1998 (Introduced in the House) Table of Contents: Beginning February 25, 1998 SECTION 1.
