Such partners could be a school, a scout and/or youth group, or a local environmental community organizations. In addition, the installation must be able to show that their project has ecological significance that to `clean water'. 4.Funds may be used for the purchase of native plant materials, fill, mulch, stakes, and fencing. The funds MAY NOT be used for the purchase of hardware (shovels, trowels, rakes, and other planting tools), or for non-native plant material, or to reimburse installation overhead costs or labor. 5.Funding preference will be given to those applicants who: 1) clearly illustrate that partner organizations are engaged in the project; 2) illustrate that they will plant a diverse mix of appropriate native species, rather than just one or two species.
