[Received from Anne Callison on the Lowry AFB RAB in Denver. --Aimee Houghton] Ted, et al., Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. My only hope (no not really) is that the wind is blowing from the north the day they do the burn. Maybe someone will be driving down US 101 in their convertible and maybe the next day this person will go out to jog, and lo and behold, they have lost 50 percent of their wind capacity. Or maybe all of a sudden they can't even walk around the block. Or maybe the paint peels off their houses and cars and they wonder what they are breathing. Or maybe they have the headache and nausea from Hell. Sometimes things have to get worse before the idiots wake up. Anne in Denver | |
