I have been able to locate with great difficulty many documents concerning similar types of uses, especially in and around my home area of Maryland, of which lies the great Chesapeake Bay. The DOD has used many sites even to this day as live rounds, bombings, etc. for training purposes, in and around the Bay. The difficult problem lies in the fact of what types of hazardous waste may be hidden in the grounds and polluting each time a new bomb is dropped on the area. It is my past experience that this is most likely a serious exposure problem to the health and welfare of your constituents. Certainly if you would care to contact me I would be more than happy to assist you and your staff in locating information concerning: the health of humans, the health of the environment, the nature and types of explosives used, etc. Our company is very capable of locating the information that you need, but certainly this information is only able to be located when someone like yourself who is concerned with the issues at hand makes it their duty to get to the very core of what actually is going on at the Island of Vieques. Hope to be of assistance. Sincerely, Henry Werner Meseke Immanuel You can find archived listserve messages on the CPEO website at http://www.cpeo.org/lists/index.html. _____________________________________________________________ Got a Favorite Topic to Discuss?
