Former Army Firing Range to Become National Wildlife Refuge

WASHINGTON, May 25, 2000 - An agreement has been reached
to reuse the former 55,265-acre Jefferson Proving Ground firing range
as a new national wildlife refuge, while still keeping a portion
open for continued Air Force flight training.
