_From: Joel Becker <digtpix1@cox.net> Does the proposed Munitions Response Prioritization Protocol address "underwater UXO"? Reply from Lenny Siegel Munitions response sites on "water bodies" are included. The location data element mentions tidal action and flooding as geological conditions that might expose munitions. Subsistence fishing is mentioned in "types of activities." But commercial fishing is not included along with agriculture and forestry. So I would say that underwater UXO is included, but there's room for improvement. -- Lenny Siegel Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight c/o PSC, 278-A Hope St., Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650/961-8918 or 650/969-1545 Fax: 650/961-8918 <lsiegel@cpeo.org> http://www.cpeo.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CPEO: A DECADE OF SUCCESS.
