I do not believe I am the only one questioning DoD's financial estimation on cleanup costs nor the amount of time it will take for same. Those figures are based on certain methodologies requiring more management than effective and timely treatments. I've been involved long enough to have learned a 'thing or two' and the USACE (key players in cleanup) will remain with traditional methods vs. new alternatives. I have spoken often of STAR Environmental, Inc. and their cost and time effective treatments. I hope either these congresswomen/men or someone from their staff will contact the STAR Environmental, Inc. staff to learn more about their 'effective treatments'. I, regretably, will not be able to attend this meeting but I hope serious consideration/discussion of 'contractors/methodologies-management vs. effective treatments' will be a part of the agenda.
