Iaiennaro told his wife, Gretchen, he has seen smoke rising above
Fallujah, Iraq.

Iaiennaro, a father of three from Hyannis, works with the Army Corps of
Engineers on a mission to rid the country of leftover ordnance - a
mission fueled by about 2,000 civilian contractors.

Iaiennaro, a Army Corps employee who works with the Groundwater Study
Program at Camp Edwards, joined a team of contractors and military
personnel from Huntsville, Ala., who are de-mining areas and blowing up
unexploded munitions.
