Homebuilder Says Thousands Of Live,
Practice Munitions Had To Be Removed

DENVER -- A homebuilder filed a lawsuit Wednesday demanding compensation
from the military for the cost of cleaning up munitions from land on a
former bombing range that was sold for housing developments.

U.S. Home Corp. said it spent $7.6 million to clean up thousands of
pieces of live and practice munitions on land at the former Lowry
Bombing and Gunnery Range.
