Workshop May 21, 2004 The National Council for Public Private Partnerships, Business Executives for National Security, and the International City/County Management Association will be hosting a one-day workshop entitled ?Creating Public-Private Partnerships with Government Capital Assets? in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 2004 at the Wyndham Washington Hotel. Background: The President Management Agenda calls for more effective utilization of a broadening range of tools for real estate management. And the improved management of federal facilities can have an enormous positive impact on the local communities. Public-Private Partnerships, including enhanced use leasing and energy savings performance contracts are just two methods that will be covered in this meeting. Experienced professionals from both the public and private sectors will explain "how it is done". Federal Installation Management Program: A series of expert panels discuss the available but underutilized programs, examining the positive and negatives of each.
