Former County Manager B.J. Selinder, who is now a consultant, told commissioners this week that to his knowledge NAS Fallon is not on any lists for closure or realignment. The next round of the Base Realignment and Closure Commission is scheduled for 2005. ... Allowed uses within the buffer zone include single-family homes, guest buildings, farms, reservoirs and canals.
