Subject: | [CPEO-MEF] Perchlorate Study Group says 236 ppb |
The Perchlorate Study Group (PSG), representing all but one of its member companies, has submitted a position paper to California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment urging it "to recognize the work of its own scientists, the NAS's authoritative report, and the requirements of its statute, and revise the PHG [state Public Health Goal for perchlorate] to 236 ppb {parts per billion]." The PSG position paper and its executive summary are posted on the Council on Water Quality's web site at http://www.councilonwaterquality.org/media/20050211.html.
