Cleanup proceeds as planned THELMA GRIMES San Pedro Valley News-Sun (AZ) July 27, 2005 The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is recommending the no-action alternative for the remaining cleanup of groundwater and soils located just south of the Apache Nitrogen Products, Inc., (ANPI) a fertilizer plant in St. David. In a public hearing, last Tuesday, Andria Benner, the EPA's remedial project manager, said Apache Nitrogen has been working to clean up environmental problems south of the facility since 1994, when ANPI was placed on the national watch list known as Superfund. ...
