To answer Stella's question, I went to CPEO's home page:
http://www.cpeo.org.I click on the LINKS button on the left, and then I selected "National/Regional Federal Facilities Web Sites." On that list, I selected "Formerly Used Defense Sites Site Inventory." That linked me to the Army Corps FUDS web page. I clicked on Florida, and I received a list of Formerly Used Defense Sites in Florida. I used my browser's FIND command to find all mentions of Seminole County. Lenny p.s. This reminds me. We're planning to update our LINKS page. If you have or know of an installation-specific or national federal facilities web site, please send me the URL. -- Lenny Siegel Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight c/o PSC, 278-A Hope St., Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650/961-8918 or 650/969-1545 Fax: 650/961-8918 http://www.cpeo.org _______________________________________________ Military mailing list Military@list.cpeo.org http://www.cpeo.org/mailman/listinfo/military |
