The Occurrence and Sources of Perchlorate in Massachusetts
Draft Report

This draft report details activities conducted by MassDEP to investigate 
and assess the extent and sources of perchlorate contamination in the 
surface waters and groundwaters of the state. Sources that were 
identified and assessed include blasting agents, military munitions, 
fireworks, and hypochlorite (bleach) solutions.
