NO OLF, Citizens for a Sound Economy meet By BILL SANDIFER Washington Daily News (NC) August 11, 2005 Regional outlying landing field opponents beefed up an alliance with Citizens for a Sound Economy Tuesday night. The groups held a joint meeting in downtown Washington to discuss an issue central to both -- property rights. "Those are what we are losing right now," Jennifer Alligood told residents from several counties. Alligood is chairman of North Carolinians Opposed to an Outlying Landing Field. The grassroots organization, NO OLF, and CSE worked together on the successful revision of a 1907 state law that ceded to the federal government all state control over land bought or condemned by the feds. Both groups celebrated the revision as a property rights victory. ...
