Mendon gets more info on toxic water By Paul Crocetti Milford Daily News (MA) July 24, 2007, Mendon -Students who drank one quart of water from the Clough School tap every day when it was contaminated are most at risk for the potential of effects, but it is still unclear how long the chemical perchlorate was in the water, according to the Department of Environmental of Protection. The contaminate has been linked to fireworks and explosives. Although authorities have not figured out how the chemical got there, DEP spokesman Ed Coletta said there have been instances statewide where residue from fireworks seeps into the water supply. ...
