Stuttgart Airport on list of previously used defense sites Munitions program investigating potentially harmful materials that may have been left behind by Leigh Kreimeier Sstuttgart Daily Leader (AR) December 11, 2007 The Stuttgart Municipal airport is among the 83 locations in Arkansas classified as a formerly-used defense site. Now the Army Corp of Engineers is looking into digging up the land to find materials that were left behind that could potentially be dangerous.
