Views Of Corps' Chemical Yard Inspection Differ WESH TV-2 News (Orlando, FL) April 22, 2008 ORLANDO, Fla. -- The man heading the investigation into a World War II chemical storage depot in East Orlando said he doesn't think there's anything to worry about. But two Orange County commissioners are concerned about cancer and environmental contamination. For 49 years Frank Bickley has lived in New Azalea Park, the northern boundary of what the Army Corps of Engineers calls the Orlando Range and Chemical Yard. Bickley said he never knew his neighborhood once housed a World War II chemical warfare training area. He's not anxious to find out what chemicals were used. ...
